We are always interested in new members joining. In addition to the comraderie and friendships developed with other riders, becoming a member also lowers your cost per event. And membership is for all ages. Want to learn more? Feel free to contact us.

Want to ride, but not ready to become a member?
No problem. We're here for the fun of riding horses. We realize that "membership" isn't something everyone wants or can manage. Please, feel free to come to any of our events and join as a rider for the day, even if you only compete in one event. If you like it, you can always come to another scheduled event and participate again.

Attention all riders:
Members and non-member participants. Please be sure to arrive early enough before start times to ensure timely registration. show times are listed on the schedule. Please arrive early enough to register (even as a member, you need to do so) for the events and get your horse tacked.
The Connecticut Gymkhana Association, Inc. (CGA) is a family oriented riding organization. The organization is open to all ages and all equine breeds. Western as well as English riders are welcome. The CGA promotes fun filled competition and strives to educate its members in areas of equine care, safety in horsemanship, and good sportsmanship. Come join the fun and camaraderie! The CGA holds ten or more full day summer horse shows each year.  Each full day gymkhana show is divided into six divisions. Results are tallied throughout the season with daily winners (by division) as well as overall winners for the season.

The New 2012 CGA  By Laws and Rules to be voted on at the Feb 1st Club meeting by all members in good standing.

Our first CGA function will be March 17 at the Agway Adventures in Danbury CT.  If anyone would like to volunteer to help us this day please contact Dave.
